Ramelin’s Meriander, 8 miles per hex v2
Jose had already completely redrawn Meriander once, adapting his earlier 2015 map to fit his new larger version of Bellissaria. He left it untouched in the second version of that map, but now returned to make some more minor revisions to finish it off.
The main changes are to the borders and the trails, all of which appear to have been redrawn from scratch — although they roughly match the previous map’s versions. I’m not sure why this was necessary; the only revision of consequence was to the Cairnport-Tincture trail, which now went due north for much of its course before turning northeast to Tincture. Previously, it has turned northeast much earlier and joined with the Tincture-Alchemos trail rather than the town itself. Meanwhile, the borders seem to have been changed to make them hug the coastline a little tighter.
There were also two new additions in this map: a few mines in the Ore Hills, and some named lakes.
Jose must have been happy with this version, because it remained unchanged in his final Bellissaria map a year later in 2018.
