Ramelin’s South Central Brun, 8 miles per hex v2
The first version of this map, likely from the previous month, had been a little incomplete. Jose now finished off the map, correcting those problems and adding new details besides. The main update in terms of details was incorporating the contents of his Sindh Desert v2 map from a few weeks earlier in the month. He expanded upon those, extending the new shipping lanes south around the Serpent Peninsula. Guadalante also received a revision, almost doubling its territory.
As with many of Jose’s maps from this period, the layers of detail of Ramelin Mystara come across loud and clear. By this point, he had been working on his project for many years, and the maps as well as their contents had been gradually building all that time. Part of the reason for these differently-framed maps was likely to allow him to knit all the disparate parts together properly, revising where necessary.
