Chimpman’s Adhuza 2300 BC, 8 miles per hex v1
Next up after Intua in John’s Mystara 2300 BC project was Adhuza, the ancient version of the Thanegioth Archipelago. As with the Known World, John envisaged it as having much more land at that time, with the entire archipelago forming a single linked, sprawling island. This map was based on an earlier work-in-progress version posted at The Piazza back in April 2010. That map is now lost to us, however.
John described some points of the map in his thread at The Piazza:
Most of the island names are taken directly from the X8(?) back cover, so those names may or may not apply in this time period. Many reef hexes have been placed (and many more yet to come) although not all of them have been cleaned up at this point. My intention is to clean all of those up at some point in the near future.
Also, I’ve worked up a unique hex icon for this map.
It seems likely that John meant XSOLO rather than X8 — although X8 is also referenced here with the isle of the Makers.
The really shining part of this map is the beautiful rendition of the Sea of Dread in ancient times, with much larger islands scattered across is.
John would return for more updates to Adhuza in the future. This map included a troublesome misalignment problem with the main Adhuza/Thanegioth Archipelago region, which needed to be fixed.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in July 2010. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2010.
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map. Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features. Hex Art & Fonts track design elements. Finally, Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text.
