Ashtagon’s HWR2 The Nithian Empire, 8 miles per hex
With this map, Emma completed her trifecta of HWR maps. She explained her choices in a post at The Piazza:
This is a near-replica copy of the map from HWR2: The Kingdom of Nithia. As before, I have taken artistic licence to make some light forest and forested hills terrain into light jungle and jungle with hills tiles. I have also taken artistic licence to adjust the cliffs and trails so they are no longer strictly following hexagon angles.
It’s a very attractive map, nicely showing off her revised palette and the adjustments to the default Atlas of Mystara hex art that she made.
