Chimpman’s Albheldri, 8 miles per hex v3
In 2011, John returned to his Albheldri map from two years before, adding settlements, borders, and place names. He first added the borders and a few settlements; this was the second version of the map, which is now lost to us. He came back with more updates mid-year, commenting at The Piazza:
Updated the map once again. Added more village and place names.
It’s unclear how much of an update version three (below) was over the previous one. But either way, it’s a great step forward compared to version one, with the map really taking shape and beginning to feel fully formed.
The reuse of HWR2’s Nithian symbols was also a nice touch — these have been severely underused, which is a shame.
