Chimpman’s Albheldri, 8 miles per hex v1
For his second 8 mile per hex map of the Hollow Moon, John chose the Albheldri Islands. This first version, from August 2009, was rather sparse. He described the region later in the same thread at The Piazza:
The high humidity from Mare Vaporum means that the Albheldri Islands are bathed in constant moisture. Rains fall daily on those islands nearest to Vaporum and the Pteryx Apennines and is often quite warm although downpours are colder and less frequent near the shoreward coasts of the Great Spindrift.
He would return to revise the map twice, both times in 2011. The second version is lost to us now.
