Ramelin’s Sindh Desert, 8 miles per hex v1
This map — Jose’s first map of the Great Waste on its own — was mostly an excerpt of his previous Great Waste and Serpent Peninsula map. Its one major update was the addition of three archipelagoes south of the Great Waste, which he had added in a map the previous month. However, there were also a number of much more minor updates. For example, the Menket Tribe had previously been marked in two disparate locations: in the hills southeast of the Great Pass, and west of Baratkand in Sind. Jose removed the latter label, replacing it with a new label, the Akani Tribe. There were a number of other minor terrain tweaks, too.
The spelling change for the desert itself continued, with the map also now being labelled as the Sindh Desert — I can’t find any evidence of Jose calling it the Great Waste.
Finally, this framing somewhat ironically cropped out part of the nation of Sind. Jose would return to fix this in another version a few months later.
