Ramelin’s Horken, 8 miles per hex
This map updated Horken from its already near-complete state in Jose’s Bellissaria version 2 map from four months earlier. As with Lagrius and Meriander, the map remained fundamentally the same, but with completely redrawn trails (using the same approximate paths) and cleaned-up labels. There were also five or six new terrain labels scattered across the nation, and eight more hexes of forest added northwest of Heptafort, in Horken’s eastern corner.
All in all, Jose finalised the map for inclusion in his updated Bellissaria version 3 map, which he shared a year later in 2018.

Another inspiring map of Alphatia. I used to think that most of Alphatia was boring – I mean, you had Dawn of the Immortals, sure, but it was half a box set for an empire each, that for Alphatia at least reduced whole sections of it, greater than the Known World, to descriptions a paragraph or two long. I’m very grateful to Bruce Heart and others who have long since contributed to and expanded on those previous mostly-blank sections.
