Ramelin’s Sea of Dread, 8 miles per hex v2
This was a highly focused update of Jose’s Sea of Dread v1 map from earlier in the year. It didn’t bring in recent developments from other maps, such as Great Waste and Serpent Peninsula or Serpent Peninsula with Islands, but instead concentrated on a single theme: improving the sea depths of the Sea of Dread. Given that the map itself was designed to showcase the sea rather than its surrounding lands, this makes a lot of sense.
Jose took things in a similar direction to John Calvin, who had created a wonderful integrated map of the area two years previously. A comparison of the two maps shows a lot of similarity overall, but with rather different details.
The clipping error in the Isle of Dread from the previous map unfortunately remained unfixed (likely unnoticed).
