Chimpman’s Frontierlands, 8 miles per hex v2
With work-in-progress maps of the Shimmering Lands and Mogreth already underway, John chose the Frontierlands — the area of modern day Thyatis and Minrothad — as his next 2300 BC map. The first version of this map is lost to us now, but it was most likely very similar to John’s Working Coastlines v2 map from around the same time. He described the updates that went into this second version in a post at The Piazza:
I’ve updated the map by extending out the mountain and hill ranges to form something a little less broken. I’ve also added in some rivers and the Taymoran settlements that can be seen.
He would revisit the area for a more detailed pass in late 2010.
