Chimpman’s Threshold Area, 2.7 miles per hex
John Calvin shared his first map at The Piazza in September 2008, just a few months after the community exodus from Wizards’ MMB. From that point on, he began to post maps in earnest. The vast majority of those were his own original work, but for this first map, he altered Simone Neri’s 2.7 mile per hex map of the Threshold Area.
As he explained in his post at The Piazza:
I took Simone’s Map of the Threshold area and modified it so that the Lost Valley and the Temple of the Shield were hidden (since I plan on letting my player look at it).
He made an excellent job of the edit, and the map seamlessly hides the DM-only information, making this a great resource to use with players.
