Ashtagon’s Precataclysmic Mystara Map B
For the second map in her series examining the position of the Precataclysmic North Pole, Emma again centred it on the Sylvan Realm. But instead of using the Hollow World Set Precataclysmic Map as a base, she used my Outer World (1985) map, which was based on the Master Set world map. She explained in her post at DeviantArt:
This map is a re-projection of the outer world map of Mystara. The north pole has been rotated to reflect the pre-cataclysm north pole. The post-cataclysm (“modern”) gridlines can be seen in white. This map does not take into account changes in sea levels or other cataclysmic changes on coastlines, nor was any editing done on the map labels.
She noted in her post at The Piazza that the North Pole was centred on the Sylvan Realm at 80ºE, 60ºN.
