Chimpman’s Vaniae, 72 miles per hex v3
John returned to his Vaniae (Mystaran Mars) concept in March 2010, about half a year after posting his first version of its hex map (albeit without hexes). He posted a second version of the map, which unfortunately is lost to us now. The version in this post is the third version, which followed less than a week after the second — and therefore was probably quite similar.
By this stage, John had begun on the world’s terrain using traditional Mystaran hex art, and he had also added some preliminary names to the terrain.
A few days later he posted an update with borders and even more labels, which I have included here (second below).

The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map. Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features. Hex Art & Fonts track design elements. Finally, Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
